Important Voting Information

Voting in Illinois has now been made easier than ever.

Registering to vote

For the first time ever you can register to vote or update your registration online.

·         Check to see if your registration is up-to-date

· Register to vote online

Vote by mail

Anyone can now vote by mail. Request a ballot and cast your vote from the comfort of... well anywhere, really.

· City of Chicago residents—request vote by mail ballots online here.

· Cook County residents—can request vote by mail ballots online here.

· All other Illinois voters—request a vote by mail ballot here.

Early Vote

Early Vote begins Monday, October 20th, and goes through Sunday, November 2nd. Anyone can vote early, and no ID is required. However, it's always a good idea to bring an ID with you if you have one.

· City of Chicago residents—find the closest Early Vote location here.

· Cook county residents—check back to this site for updates. Early Vote locations are not yet published.

· All other Illinois voters—find their Early Vote locations here.

Election Day is November 4th
